1. AWARD CATEGORY CHOICE

We recommend that you choose which category you feel is appropriate for your nominee by carefully reading the descriptions of the Award categories and by ensuring you can provide the required information outlined in the category description.

IMPORTANT: Each nomination can only be entered within a single category.

2. TIME FRAME

Note that projects or initiatives need not have started and finished in 2014-2015.

Entries must be contemporary and demonstrate benefits that have already been achieved.

Nominators must consult with the Award' Brochure, particularly the Nomination Template (CLICK HERE).

 

3. JUDGES’ EXPECTATIONS

Nominations must meet a number of eligibility criteria. They must demonstrate:

a. A high degree of innovation or achievement

b. Measurable and Significant results

c. Transferability

d. Best Practice

4. THE JUDGING PROCESS

 

Each Award category will be peer-judged by a panel of 3 independent procurement professionals, who have significant expertise and experience in the field of public procurement.

The judges will select one winner for each category, with second and third placed nominees receiving Special Commendations.

 

5. COMPLETING YOUR ONLINE NOMINATION

Nominators must write their submissions strictly according to the guidance provided, and by using the requested headings.

Nominations will only be assessed if all the required information has been provided. They can be written in English or Welsh.

Online submissions for the Welsh National Procurement Awards are to consist of a maximum of 5 written pages and are to be submitted online at: www.welshprocurementawards.org.uk

6. SUBMITTING YOUR ONLINE NOMINATION

Nominators must submit their completed nomination online.

Nominators must consult with the Award' Brochure, particularly the Nomination Template (CLICK HERE).

Nominations must be submitted online no later than:
12noon on Thursday, 19th May 2016.
